Coach Tony began playing volleyball in 7th grade and grew to love the sport.  After his playing career, he immediately knew he wanted to coach and inspire young athletes to learn and love the game of volleyball and coached from 1998-2002. Tony took some time off from volleyball to focus on building his family.  During that time, to stay close to the game, he began to referee at the high school level for three years while living in Maui.  Over the past few years he’s coached local recreation teams for kids 8-14 years old, including volunteer coaching with the Special Olympics Orange County team in 2016. Coach Tony is now in a position to resume high-level competitive coaching and looks forward to the opportunity to continue to grow A4 Volley into a regional and national powerhouse!
